Welcome to beWoolen
Thank you for visiting beWoolen. Our dream in building this store is to connect people through creativity - by providing a friendly setting to gather, learn, and create in a warm relaxed environment. We share your love of great design, gorgeous yarn, and endless inspiration.
We'd love to hear from you and to see what's on your needles. Share with us on Facebook and Instagram. Links are at the bottom of the website. We LOVE to re-post your creations on Instagram to share with everyone.
Local to us? You can select Pick Up upon checking out if you would prefer to pick up your purchase rather than have it shipped. Please select "change" next to your ship to address on the check out screen. This will enable the pick up option to become available for you to click.
We are OPEN normal business hours for in store shopping and curbside pick up. Our website is open 24 hours!
If you plan to come in for shopping, please wear a mask. We will be wearing ours too.
We are practicing best health guidelines for sanitizing, and making check out as touchless as we possibly can.
Questions? Please contact us via phone or email. We would love to hear from you, put kits and projects together with you virtually, and give you any help that we are able to during this time. We understand how essential knitting and crochet are for us all as we work from home, and otherwise stay socially distanced.
See any issues with our website? Please let us know - we are still making tweaks and adding more every day to make our site easy to use and navigate.
Attitude of Gratitude
Knitted Wit has created a countdown-to-the-end of the year kit that will help us all find our Attitude of Gratitude!
So what exactly is it? It’s an advent, of sorts, with a countdown, not to a holiday, but through the last month of the year to the last day of the year. The goal in offering this is to encourage us all to close out the year on a positive note.
Each day in December 2020, participants will open an envelope, and get a professionally-printed Gratitude Card. Most days, there will be either a mini skein of yarn or a wee goodie, too. There is a meditative rainbowriffic knit project to work on, gratitude prompts to think on, and the supportive ShannaJean community to KAL with, all centering on ending the year on a grateful and high note.
beWoolen will be hosting a KAL for this special project. (more information on that to be released at a later date.)
Please understand that this is a pre order. There are a limited amount of kits being made and we want to make sure if you'd like one, that you'll get one.

beWoolen Made Me Do It Luxe Wrap
The latest addition to our beWoolen library of patterns is our fully reversible wrap - made with five skeins of beWoolen DK. The wrap is constructed using simple stitch patterns to create a lot of movement and texture. Check out our array of beWoolen Dk - we have speckled versions, fade versions, and all one color versions.
The pattern is complimentary with your five skein beWoolen DK purchase.

beWoolen's Knitted Knockers Campaign with Laura
Please join us as we welcome our local "Knitted Knockers Ambassador" - Laura (pictured above). Laura has been knitting and donating knockers for quite some time; frequently challenging herself to knit one a day. We have joined forces with her to contribute to this worthy cause.
We have CRUSHED our initial goal of 50 pairs of knockers!
A great big THANK YOU to all of you have been joining us via Zoom and have donated so generously. We are continuing to stuff, finish, and sort our donations to get them out into circulation.
Stay tuned to our newsletter, we will keep you all posted about our Knitted Knockers News and will continue to meet in person for stuffing and finishing, as well as via zoom for continued social stitching together.
What's next? We will continue to make and donate knockers....so please keep 'em coming!
Knitting Knockers is surprisingly easy, so is crocheting them. Knitted knockers are made with no seam, in one piece. It is easy to grab and go, it is the best instant gratification project. The best part: every knocker you finish is going to change the way someone feels about themselves.
Outside of the yarn, you don’t need much: Size 4 or 5 DPNS, a darning needle, scissors.
Additional Information from KnittedKnockers.org ~
Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Traditional breast prosthetics are usually expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable. They typically require special bras or camisoles with pockets and can’t be worn for weeks after surgery. Knitted Knockers on the other hand are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. Our special volunteer knitters provide these FREE to those requesting them.
Knockers are needed in all sizes and colors so have fun making the Knockers of your choice. By far the most requested are neutral colors though and matching pairs are greatly needed.
Please note that only knockers made from approved patterns and approved yarns will be used for distribution of knockers at knittedknockers.org. Please visit the site linked below for the full list.
We have worked with a wonderful hand dyer to create a wall of beautiful beWoolen exclusive DK yarn!
