Join Stephen West's first annual Hiberknitalong! It’s the coziest time of year, the perfect time to knit a new shawl for the new year as you hiberknit through the deep winter nights.
The Hiberknitalong with Stephen West officially begins December 26. When you purchase the Hiberknitalong e-book, you will receive an intro PDF with all the info you need to participate. Then, you will receive not one, but two Hiberknitalong shawl patterns on December 26, so you can choose your favorite of the two designs to participate in the knit along.
One of the designs will be a triangular shawl and the other design will be a semi-circular shawl. Both designs will be revealed on December 26 as a surprise and you will get the entire pattern instructions on that day.
Both shawl options will be easy to knit and they are appropriate for adventurous beginners to join the knitting fun.

beWoolen TWIST Fingering
We have once again collaborated with our talented hand dyer to create our exclusive beWoolen TWIST Fingering weight yarn.
Each skein is 100% superwash merino with a generous 485 yards. This is just the beginning of what will be an expansive color palette. You will be able to fade, marl, pop, and mix and match to create wonderful shawls, sweaters, and so much more. We currently have over 50 shades and we will be adding to these colors in the weeks and months ahead.
Fireside Tweed Poncho Kits
This Poncho is a bit more than a poncho. With generous armholes and a swingy shape; one size will fit most. We suggest a fit range from Size 6-16. The bust size is 56”, overall length from neck to bottom is approximately 30”
Knit in pieces from the bottom up, the front and back are worked separately. Ribbing that wraps around the lower half are sewn on with mattress stitch. The shoulders are shaped with german short rows and the two pieces are attached at the top with a three needle bind off. Sts for the arms are picked up and worked flat. Lastly, the cowl is picked up and worked in the round.
We used Cascade Aegean Tweed, 100% organic wool (in Olive) held double throughout. If you haven’t tried this yarn yet, it is soft and makes a wonderful fabric. (10 skeins total held double).
We have made kits. Your favorite color is just a click away! Pattern is FREE with the kit purchase.
Snuggles and Stripes
Get ready for this play on textures!
Using brand new yarns from Rowan, this cowl and hat set was born out of the need to use them together for a super snuggly sumptuous cowl. Wide rugby style stripes play off each other in the aptly named Soft Boucle - stockinette and reverse stockinette are subtle and work up quickly. The next phase is the introduction of Merino Aria in the form of a mitered square with skinny stripes for a play on angles along with stripes. Finish off with textured stripes in Merino Aria; then join in the round by picking up stitches and completing a three needle bind off.
The cowl was worked first, the remaining Merino Aria was worked into the coordinating hat.

Sumptuous Chunky Cowl
We love Rasta for its glorious array of colors, it's the perfect super bulky yarn that works up quickly with stunning results. For this cowl, you will cast on at the bottom edge and work back and forth in flat rows before joining in the round. Double decreases work to make a faux side seam while narrowing the top of the cowl to hug you just right. The ribbed body gives you a nice voluptuous shape when worn--easy to fold down for just the right amount of coverage. We paired Rasta with Sesia Bluebell for our version--you can decide if you would like that extra sparkle.
The hat is The Faithie Beanie, again pairing Rasta with Bluebell. We topped it off with the perfect beWoolen Pom Pom.
beWoolen Made Me Do It Luxe Wrap
The latest addition to our beWoolen library of patterns is our fully reversible wrap - made with five skeins of beWoolen DK. The wrap is constructed using simple stitch patterns to create a lot of movement and texture. The drape and stitch definition are only the beginning - capped off by loads of glorious fringe that is knit and then unravelled at the end. We used a Fringe Twister to achieve the perfect twists. Check out our array of beWoolen Dk - we have speckled versions, fade versions, and all one color versions.
The pattern is complimentary with your five skein beWoolen DK purchase.
