Breathe and Hope by Casapinka for LYS Day

If you would like to make your own Breathe and Hope Shawl, we are putting together some fun yarn combinations. If you place an order for a pair of skeins to make this pattern, we will email you the coupon code to enter into Ravelry.

Breathe and Hope was designed for LYS Day (April 25) but LYS Day was canceled due to COVID. At the last minute, I decided to see if LYS’s wanted to offer it with curbside pickup/online sales. What I thought would be about fifty responses took on a life of it’s own.

PLEASE SUPPORT LYS’S IF YOU CAN AND ORDER A KIT! Most have online offerings so check their Instagram, Facebook or websites. If everyone who could, ordered a kit, we would all help our beloved LYS’s pay rent, pay employees, and keep the lights on.

 

The pattern is free from participating LYS’s when you buy yarn (2 skeins of fingering, 400 yards each) to make the shawl. They will give you a coupon code

The pattern will be for sale on Ravelry Friday and coupon codes will go into effect Friday at 8am EST but must be redeemed by midnight Pacific time on Sunday.

Details and Suggested Materials
Boomerang/asymmetric triangle shape
15” deep by 78” at neck edge
US 4 and Us 6, 24” or longer needles needed (for average tension)
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn
Color A (variegated or solid) - 400 yards
Color B (solid) - 400 yards
10% wiggle room is built into my patterns for yardage so that is up to you if you are going to use less than 400 yards.
