Create a festive and personalized Christmas stocking in this fun and engaging knitting class! Perfect for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters, Miss Andrea will guide you through how to use our doodle decks to create a colorful and whimsical holiday stocking featuring playful patterns and designs. Doodle patterns include micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match color work motifs that work together to create something completely unique, within an easy-to-follow structure. The pattern is worked in the round from top down. It begins with the ribbed cuff, then a section of "doodle" colorwork, then a mock short row heel, before finishing with a similar colorwork along the foot, and a traditional sock toe.

Beginner "plus". Students should have knowledge of knitting in the round and either using double point needles or magic loop for knitting small circumferences.

  •  How to use doodle patterns to lay out design
  • Reading charts
  • Working color work
