February 6, 20, March 13, 27 & April 3rd
This class is best for intermediate/advanced knitters with some sweater knitting and color work experience.
Techniques / skills to be taught:

Unique cast on
- short row shaping
- steeks are incorporated from the top down
- reinforcing and cutting of steeks
- magic loop

Transition to knitting in the round for the body

Color work techniques and discussion of charts and chart reading

ribbing techniques
Homework:
Perform a gauge swatch in the round for the first class.
Have your yarn purchased and wound, ready to go.
Have your pattern purchased and printed (or downloaded to a device).
Bring all of your class supplies.
Materials:
Purchase and print the Iris pattern by Trin-Annelie, yarn: may we suggest BC Garn Bio Shetland - which has SO many colors to mix and match, needles for gauge in ribbing size and body size (Bill will review gauge with you in class as well); stitch markers, notions per pattern. The cast on will require multiple needles in your gauge size, so please bring additional pairs to work this portion of the pattern.
