In this class we will explore
- stranded colorwork
- chart reading
Supplies
- Malabrigo Rios - two high contrast colors (our sample is being knit up in Libra & White) - one skein each color.
- Yarn for classes at beWoolen must be purchased at the store - just let us know upon checkout in order to receive a 10% discount on your yarn
- You'll need a copy of the pattern purchased & printed prior to the start of class
- Needle size in pattern: US6-16" & US7-16" circulars
- stitch marker, darning needle & scissors
There is Homework:
Cast on your cowl and knit the ribbing so you are ready to learn the stranding techniques. You can use your favorite cast on / pattern calls for long tail cast on. If you need help or guidance on with the two color ribbing, please cast on and knit one round using the MC before class starts.
Have your pattern printed and your yarn wound up. Plan to purchase supplies & wind yarn prior to the first day of class: especially since the winding line can get pretty long just prior to the start of the first class.
