This is a "next step" Tunisian crochet workshop for those that have worked the Tunisian simple stitch either in a project, or in our Learn to Tunisian Mug Rug workshop. We will be expanding upon your skills by adding some additional stitches to your tool box:
The Tunisian Knit Stitch and the Purl Stitch - we will practice these new stitches so that you will have the necessary skills to complete your mug rugs at your own pace.
Grab a friend and spend a few hours learning something new! At the end of class, it's possible you will have your project completed.
Skills learned:
Reading your Tunisian crochet - recognize stitches already worked
Tunisian purl stitch
Tunisian knit stitch
changing colors
Bind off

Materials:
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios, Cascade 220, or beWoolen Pigments Worsted in a minimum of
two colors. Please do not choose black or really dark colors. Lightly variegated and solids will work best to see the stitches. Yarn for class must be purchased at beWoolen.
Hook: 5mm to 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 5" to 8" cord and end stopper (the size will be dependent on your tension and size of yarn - we can help you choose the correct size at class if you want to wait to purchase the hook)
