This is a great place to start learning how to Tunisian crochet. No prior experience with Tunisian crochet is required.

**If you have never knitted OR crocheted, please contact us prior to signing up.

This workshop is best geared towards those who have familiarity with

holding yarn and working stitches - such as knowledge of making a

crochet chain or basic knitting stitches.

Grab a friend and spend a few hours learning something new! At the end of class, it's possible you will have your project completed.

Skills learned:

Foundation cast on, the Tunisian Simple stitch, return pass, changing colors, fringe ending.

Materials:

Yarn: Malabrigo Rios, Cascade 220, or beWoolen Pigments Worsted in a minimum of

two colors. Please do not choose black or really dark colors. Lightly variegated and solids will work best to see the stitches. Yarn for class must be purchased at beWoolen.

Hook: 5mm to 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 5" to 8" swivel cord and end stopper (the size will be dependent on your tension and size of yarn - we can help you choose the correct size at class if you want to wait to purchase the hook)

Notions: locking stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle

Instructor will hand the pattern out at class.

Homework: We highly recommend stopping in prior to the class date to gather your supplies, so that you will have time to wind your yarn & are ready to begin class promptly at 6pm.
