  • Have you been interested in learning how to crochet? Join Miss Jill to learn the basic stitches that are the building blocks of crochet techniques. You will learn and practice the stitches outlined below; then you will create a striped potholder. This class is the first in a series of three learn to crochet classes. 

Already know how to crochet, but wish to expand your skills? Take Learn to Crochet 2.0: textured stitches, or 3.0: granny square style scarf

Skills covered:

  • chain
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • increases and decreases
  • changing colors
  • finishing & weaving in the ends

Yarn Choices:  Nifty Cotton/Splash/Effects if you prefer cotton, we also love a wool choice such as Cascade 220 (do yourself a favor and do not choose really dark or black so that you can see the stitches more clearly)....you will need 3 colors of yarn.
