Tin Can Knits has a variety of sweater patterns, whether knitting for yourself or a loved one, big or little, for any season and sized for everyone--multiple sizes with multiple weight yarns, not to mention trying a new-to-you technique or sharpen your skills with a first sweater.

This class is appropriate for beginner plus and up. (There are patterns for first time to experienced sweater knitters.) 

What You'll need:
Pattern—printed out, in a book, or downloaded on a tablet. Project yarn purchased from beWoolen (wound if needed) knitting needles (bring extras), markers, scrap yarn or cord for holding stitches, small scissors, yarn needle and a tape measure. 

Homework: Read thru your pattern. Swatch with project yarn per pattern instructions. Adjust needle size to get the gauge. You may have to go up or down needle size/s, if needed. Half stitches count! Bring your swatch to class. If the swatch tension is correct, and you feel comfortable, you could go ahead and proceed with the cast on.  Please make sure your contact information is current in your profile. (cell phone number as well as email)
