This class will show you how to use the two needle technique to complete cuff-down socks. Join Miss Christine in learning this fantastic technique. 

Westknits Simple Socks Pattern: This top-down sock pattern begins with a ribbed cuff and continues with simple stockinette stitch for the leg. The heel features a simple garter stitch heel flap. Use this pattern with your fingering weight sock yarn and customize the colors to create your own colorful socks. The leg and foot of the sock are easily customizable, so you can achieve the perfect fit. Click HERE for the link.

Level: Advanced Beginner - Must know basic knit, purl, decreases (SSK, K2TOG)

In this class you'll learn SO much:

• Learn HOW to knit socks
• Learn to use 2 circulars for knitting in the round 
• German Twisted Cast-on
• How to pick up stitches for the gusset
• Learn Kitchener Stitch for grafting
• Learn how to change colors including optional jogless striping
  

Supplies:

• Pattern is free on Ravelry: Westknits Simple Socks pattern
• Materials: 6 mini skeins of Malabrigo Ultimate Socks; you'll need 5 colors:
• 1 skein each of 4 separate colors, 2 skeins of 1 color.
• 2-24" circular needles in 2.25mm (US size 1)
• 2 stitch markers for gusset, 1 that can be clipped on to indicate the front of the sock
• darning needle
  

Homework: Download and print your pattern, purchase and wind your yarn & get your TWO pairs of needles ready/purchased so you can cast on first thing during class.
