This class is best suited to those who have some Tunisian crochet experience: take the Learn to Tunisian Mug Rug Class if you are brand new to the world of Tunisian crochet.
Join Miss Michelle to expand your basic Tunisian Crochet skills with this gorgeous pattern. The Quick Crescent Shawl combines a variety of stitch patterns together with increases so that you will be learning different stitches that you will then put to good practice in your project. Choose a three color fade in either DK or worsted weight yarn for your own gorgeous fade. The pattern will walk your through the color changes to achieve this stunning (and complicated looking) project.
Skills covered:
Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian Full Stitch, Tunisian Knit Stitch, Tunisian Purl Stitch, Tunisian Reverse Stitch, Tunisian Edge Stitch, honeycomb and lace patterning, Increases and Decreases. You will learn to read your stitches as you work the patterns.
Materials & Homework:
Purchase and print pattern (follow link in Ravelry to purchase through Payhip), Baah Sonoma or Malabrigo Rios yarn - 3 skeins (500-600 yards) size 6.5mm hook with 30 or 37" cord and stopper, removeable stitch markers. Please plan to purchase and wind your yarn prior to the first class to ensure you will have everything ready to go at our first session.
