The Sonora Bag is a quick and surprisingly easy make! Using basic Tunisian crochet stitches you will learn how to craft this stunning bag.
Must know the basics of Tunisian crochet. Preferably, you'll have some prior Tunisian Simple stitch experience having taken the Mug Rug 1.0 Workshop. In this class, your knowledge will expand to include learning the Tunisian slanted stitch, color changes, and finishing techniques for this bag - including seaming using crochet techniques and also a short discussion of how to sew a bag lining using fabric.
Supplies: You will need 2-4 colors of Malabrigo Chunky or Cascade Grande, an 8-10mm Tunisian crochet hook, with a 14" swivel cord and large stopper, locking stitch markers, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
Additional Supplies obtained outside of beWoolen, if desired: D-Rings and a strap, 1/2 yard fabric
Homework: Please purchase your supplies and have your yarn wound up prior to the first class date.(the winding station can become very busy the night of the first class) Purchase and print the pattern - find it on Ravelry HERE
