Join us in the great room as we welcome Miss Shannon to beWoolen - We love having Shannon at our store because we always learn so much about the wide variety of yarns that Cascade Yarns has to offer. There will be sample skeins of everything on hand that we carry in the store and a LOT of garments and accessories to touch and feel.

Cascade Crafternoon - Mosaic Knitting Workshop
The Cascade Yarns Mosaic Knitting Workshop is a popular hands-on class taught by Shannon Dunbabin. Mosaic knitting is an easy color work method using only one color per row and slipping stitches to make complex patterns.
What You 'll Learn:
Slipping Stitches: You will learn the basics of slipping stitches (moving them from one needle to the next without working them) to let a previous row's color pull up to create a pattern.
Reading Charts: You will practice reading mosaic knitting charts, which use colors instead of symbols to guide your rows.
You will be provided with small amounts of Cascade 220 SW Merino to craft your swatches of mosaic knitting - plan to bring US 7 needles with you (or your preferred needle size to work with worsted weight yarn)
