Join Miss Alea in this join as you go granny square cardigan class! The Ariana Cardigan is a gorgeous statement piece that will add coziness and flair to your wardrobe. The class will start off learning granny squares and triangles, then learn how to join them into a cardigan shape, and finally you will pick up stitches to knit the ribbing and complete your new sweater!

Must know the basics of crochet. Crochet ribbing can be substituted for knitting if needed. This is an advanced beginner class. You will learn granny squares, join as you go crochet, and picking up knitting for ribbing, or crochet ribbing.

Yarn: Malabrigo Rios in 1 color for the inside of the squares, and 1 color for the joins and the ribbing, OR 1 color of Noro Ito for the inside of the squares, and 1 color of Friday Harbor for the joins and ribbing. See pattern for yardages. You will need a 3.75 mm (F) crochet hook and a 3.75 mm (US 5) knitting needle.

Please have your pattern ready to go and yarn wound for the first day of class.
