Each skein is washed 2-5 times, depending on which plant-based color Cindy is creating. Because we’re a closed loop system, that water is returned directly back to our farm land. We only want clean ingredients in our soil. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo we formulated our own wool wash using natural Castille soap, derived from Olives, coconut oil, and lanolin. You can see the natural milky cleansing properties as the plant oils separate between uses. A quick shake blends it back together and it’s ready to use on your silky underthings or newly finished hand-mades.
