Wonderland Yarns Mary Ann is a smooth, soft, and durable fingering weight yarn. Hand-dyed right in Vermont, Mary Ann hits the perfect balance.

A blend of 85% Merino and 15% nylon, this yarn will hold up as socks as well as in garments and accessories. With its firm twist and crisp stitch definition, Mary Ann is a great choice for projects with cables and texture patterns. While this yarn can be machine washed, Wonderland Yarns recommends hand washing to best preserve color.

Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein.

Color Bursts = Unexpected Wonderful Things:

Have you ever had a moment where all the beauty in the world was condensed into a single drop of spell-binding joy? There’s a solitary flower poking through the pavement of a nondescript sidewalk; you are stuck in traffic in the rain, and a rainbow appears in the sky just off to the left; you are road-weary and starved, and an all night diner’s neon glow appears on the horizon…

These are what our Colorbursts embody~  Specially dyed with a chunk of color, creating bursts of color as your project takes form. Go with the flow, and see what comes out, or plan it out to create an easy, fun pattern. Expect the unexpected and joy will follow.

Pattern Suggestions: The Bright Side (shawl), Charade (socks), Sockhead Slouch (hat)....all on Ravelry. Each would take one wonderful skein of Mary Ann.
