Townhouse Yarns Olla No.2

Olla No. 2 is the newest yarn from Townhouse Yarns. The baby of the family is a 100% Irish Spun and Dyed Lambswool. “Olla” is the Irish word for “Woollen”. This yarn is  plied and has a wonderful structure – creating fabric with incredible stitch definition.  Not only is Olla strong but it’s also warm, soft and lofty: A perfect yarn for colourwork and textured patterns like cables.

We fell in love with Olla for it's woolly-ness: the smell, the texture, the wonderful yardage. This will knit up light and lofty for sweaters, hats, shawls, and pretty well anything you can dream up. 

Please consider when ordering that as this is a hand dyed item, there may be variations in each batch; alternating skeins is recommended.
