Scandi Cowl Kit

Mary Jane Mucklestone's Scandi Cowl design features motifs adapted from the book 150 Scandinavian Motifs. We love the Scandi cowl because it is a super fun way to practice and explore the beauty of Scandinavian stranded knitting. Each section of knitting has a large colorful chart, and uses only one to two colors per row.

The cowl is knit as a long tube, in the round beginning with a provisional cast on and joined with kitchener stitch after blocking to form a continuous loop.

Finished measurements 16” 40 cm circumference (8” 20 cm folded flat), 59½“ 150cm length

The Details: Each kit contains 8 skeins of Malabrigo Rios - a worsted weight super wash wool that is hand dyed. Each set will come in a handy clear zip top tote. You will need to add a copy of the pattern and a 16" length circular needle (size 7 is recommended; or for gauge)
