This is the second class in our learn to crochet series. Join Miss Jill for 6 hours of instruction to build upon and expand your crochet skills "toolbox" so that you will be comfortable trying new patterns and stitches with texture. You will make a pair of fingerless mittens in this class, using the stitches and skills outlined below.
If you have never crocheted, start with Learn to Crochet 1.0

Skills covered:
review of basic stitches: ch, sc, dc
half double crochet - hdc
shell stitch
finishing & weaving in the ends

Materials:
1-2 skeins aran weight yarn (180 yards) - we suggest HiKoo Simpliworsted; 2 skeins
Size G/4mm crochet hook
6 - 1/2" buttons
Tapestry needle
Closing stitch markers
