This years "Rhinebeck" sweater by Andrea Mowry is a stunner!  Even if you do not have a plan to travel to Rhinebeck, you'll still want to make this gorgeous color work pullover to keep you warm this autumn. You should have some experience making sweaters and some basic color work skills already in place. The pace of this class does allow for some extra time between sessions so that you'll get to the next step as class moves along - we'll finish in time so you can wear your lovely creation at all the fall events!

Things we'll cover in class:

• working a swatch to figure out the right size to make
• working color work
• catching floats
• reading charts
• long tail tubular cast on
• german short rows

Yarn Ideas: worsted weight yarns in contrast colors so that you'll be able to see your color work - we love Cascade 220 SW Wave as the color changing yarn and Cascade 220 SW Merino for the solid colors; Malabriogo Rios is always a favorite, or for something a bit different - Four Crows Fibers (held double) for the color changing plus either Cascade SW Merino, Woolpaka, or Rios to contrast. Amounts will vary per size. Our staff can help you get everything you need to craft this project - just let us know how we can help!

Purchase and print a copy of the pattern, purchase and wind yarn, bring needles in sizes for gauge (plus extras in case we need to adjust). Homework will be to work a gauge swatch that we will take a look at during the first class.
